News - 10 November 2009

Note: Due to the fantasic work of STIG -"Save Trees in Gunnersbury", the proactive group which has successfully demonstrated against the loss of over 400 mature trees and put a temporary stop to the selling of the park land, we no longer see the point in duplicating the news, so this website will still serve as an archive and be updated from time to time, unless there is an immediate and direct challenge to the convenant.

We would like to thank everyone for all their attention and help todate and most importantly, thank Bela Cunha, who has tirelessly campaigned for over 20 years to keep Gunnersbury Park. Her hard work hasn't gone unnoticed as she was invited to Downing street last month as recognition of her undaunting efforts. Click here to read further on Bela .
